![[WEBINAR] Covid-19: We’re Not ‘All in This Together’ Equally – So What Can Investors Do About It?](https://leapfroghacks.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/cornerstone-capital-webinar.jpg)
No community has been spared the harsh impacts of Covid-19, but some are clearly more at risk than others. Race, income, ZIP Code – these are all factors that influence one’s chances of making it through the crisis personally and financially. In fact, in New York City, black and Hispanic/Latinx residents are twice as likely as white residents to die from the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. This fact is directly related to the lack of economic opportunity in some communities, especially communities of color, as well as other structural issues including who has access to investment capital.
Many impact investors are asking hard questions about how they can influence who gets access to capital moving forward, both short- and long-term. Cornerstone is pleased to convene a panel of experts to address this question. We will discuss investment opportunities that are helping to bring much-needed immediate capital to communities of color and low-income communities, as well as patient, long-term investment opportunities to help address the structural differences in access to investment capital.
Our Panel:
Nathalie Molina Niño, Entrepreneur/Investor
Priya Parrish, Managing Partner, Impact Engine
Morgan Simon, Candide Group
Katherine Pease, Cornerstone Capital Group (Moderator)
