Social Venture Circle hosts this timely conversation with Nathalie Molina Niño (O³) and Valerie Red-Horse Mohl.
As private citizens, we are more aware than ever about the importance of being vocal and involved in civic life, from the last few elections to recent COVID federal stimulus, our national politics have impacted our community and many of our businesses in extreme ways. But as investors, many of us are constantly looking for innovative ways to put both capital and energy into influencing elections, and giving only to campaigns, which are slapped together quickly and then dismantled after elections are over, can be difficult to get behind.
Most of us prefer to invest in things that last.
SVC Member, Nathalie Molina Niño, in her search for a more effective and sustainable way to deploy investment into electoral politics at this critical time, shared her learnings with Forbes (article by Morgan Simon) and will be joining us in a session to share these lessons in greater detail and to lead an interactive conversation, alongside one of the organizations also featured, the Movement Voter Project.
